Castle Creek valley is a farming area in north-central Owyhee County. The valley is about fifteen miles long and one to two miles wide and is watered by Castle Creek. It is primarily devoted to stock raising and farming.
Castle Creek was also a census precinct from 1890 thru 1932. It was organized from part of Sinker Creek precinct between 1890 and 19002 and was annexed to Oreana precinct in 1932.
